Buoyed up by bold expressions

I received the award from the new Governor of Tasmania, Barbara Baker AC. It was such an exciting moment(well whole week actually). I really feel I have reached a milestone in my art with the three works in my bold expressions series I entered in the Annual. I have been working full time for nearly 18 months now and I feel I am finally letting go and really enjoying the process of working in an intuitive way.

I have almost finished a new set in the bold expressions series; 2 large (80cm), 2 medium(60cm) and 6 small 30cm ones.

I have been struggling with a couple but think they might be coming to a resolution. These are Blue abundance and Fury

The next community exhibition is the Rotary Art Show at Wrest Point Boardwalk Gallery from 17-19 September. I am readying 6 works to show there.
